
The left radiograph is of the cervical spine, demonstrating a severe kyphotic deformity, characteristic of neurofibromatosis. In addition, posterior scalloping is present due to hypoplasia of the posterior elements. Weak meninges result in dural ectasia.
The right radiograph is of the thoracolumbar spine with a broken fixation rod. Notice the dysplastic pedicles and posterior scalloping.
